Mary Anning Lino Print on Handmade Paper

This is a Lino print but also an homage to one of my hero’s, Mary Anning often called the princess of palaeontology. The print depicts her surrounded by her discoveries including an ichthyosaurus, Plesiosaurus, Dimorphodon and Squaloraja. The Lino print its self is printed on handmade Nepalese Mountain paper and is torn to 210 x 297 mm to leave an organic frayed edge. Each piece is signed and dated with when it was printed
